The Mermaid Cafe - Madison

Every visit to The Mermaid Cafe has been outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is inviting. It really has that "Cheers" vibe where everyone feels like a friend. Plus, their drink specials are fantastic! I once had a steak from another well-known steakhouse in town, but it couldn't compare to the filet at The Mermaid. It's hands down the best steak in Jackson, and I really know my steaks!

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the crispy fries, pimento cheese balls, and crawfish egg rolls! They also provided socially distanced seating for each group, which was a nice touch.

Crazy great service and the 8oz filet was as close to perfect as I've ever had. The wait staff was excellent and just can't say enough goodness about the food.

You can?t beat the service you get when you dine at the Mermaid! Their menu has a few options and none disappoint. They run specials almost every week and you can check them out on their Facebook page. If your just looking for a good drink hit up their bar, they have some great drinks as well.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Mermaid Cafe, and it was fantastic! Every dish was delicious, particularly the lamb chop special paired with rosemary risotto. The service was exceptional! The management was very helpful and accommodating. Our server, McKenzie, really went above and beyond to ensure that everyone in our party of 13 had a great experience. Thank you, Mermaid Cafe!
