We mentioned that we were visiting from out of town, and he generously shared many recommendations for local sights and attractions. He was a great guy! And the donuts? Absolutely fantastic!
A great spot for hot donuts made the traditional way. They also have special offerings for kids on their birthdays. As a fellow veteran, I encourage you to pay Mr. Keith a visit and let him know that Joel sent you. You won't be disappointed!

This place has the perfect doughnut, light, airy texture and glaze that isn't sticky or too sweet. The menu is simple and to the point, no frills but what you get is better than any fancy doughnut ever. Make sure you bring your cash and a little self control because you won't want to stop for just one.
