Osteria Dell'oca - MANTOVA

Incredible traditional food experience in the hearth of Mantua! The food was incredibly tasty and reflect the rooted traditions of the city. The risotto was just incredible, the pasta slit dish was full of flavor and even the free grappa at the end was fantastic. The service was familiar and professional and the design of the location reflects the spirit of this historical restaurants. The owner was so nice to let us park the bicycle inside the courtyard of the restaurant. Overall a perfect dining experience that you must have if you visit Mantua.

Delicious foods. Specialized in regional meat cuisines as rabbit, duck meats. Pudding as a Dolce with coffee in a antique pot is super sweet. Better make a reservation over an email or a call. Full of people most of time.

Amazing place! Very calm local tasty perfect place, exactly what you can dream in Italy! Especially I would recommend the starter plate it is beautiful. Also the second dishes are very home made, nice serving. Donkey meat pasta tastes perfect. Very local tiramisu, lots of cream. Coffee is not very strong. Pumpkins ravioli tastes interesting.

Fare la recensione di un ristorante come questo è facilissimo. Tutto bene, tutto buono, servizio perfetto, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Ma poi ti rendi conto che non basta. L'osteria dell oca non è un ristorante turistico e, nonostante si trovi nel centro di Mantova, il locale da fuori può apparire anonimo. Poi... Varcata la soglia capisci di essere nel posto giusto. Qualità e quantità dei piatti sono più che eccellenti. Le signore che ci hanno servito ci hanno coccolato rispondendo a tutte le domande che gli abbiamo posto. Da notare che l'amaro è della casa e regolarmente offerto. Il caffè, rigorosamente moka, è servito tramite un bricchetto di rame (molto pittoresco). Parliamo di cibo.. Anzi no.. Le foto parlano da sole. Quello che posso dire è che ho mangiato il miglior cotechino della mia vita (e non è una cosa scontata). Se capitate a Mantova passare da questa osteria è un obbligo. Stra consigliato.

Accogliente osteria a pochi minuti dalle principali attrazioni turistiche. Poche decine di coperti e ottimo servizio. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e prezzi giusti. Consiglio vivamente la prenotazione.
