Chef Chan Chinese Food Takeout Delivery

Exceptional American-style Chinese cuisine offered at a remarkably reasonable price.

I really enjoyed their food when I was pregnant. I would describe it as "American Chinese," similar to what you’d find at Manchu Wok. While it’s not my top choice anymore, the service is quick and efficient.

The food here is amazing and the service is exceptional! I visit this restaurant at least twice a week!

As for the General Tao, if he were as ineffective as our meal was, he would have surely lost the battle! The Sesame chicken was surprisingly bland—especially disappointing since it has been my favorite for years. The curry dish was a chaotic mess that left us wondering if it was even curry at all; if it weren't for its color, we wouldn't have recognized what we were eating. The shrimp dish was acceptable, but “acceptable” is what we expect from other restaurants, not from Chef Chan. Their house rice has always been reliable, but it isn't enough to win us back. I apologize for not including any pictures with this review; everything ended up in the trash because nobody wanted it! So, sorry Chef Chan, but next time we’ll be heading to Tangerine instead.

I used to live in Markham and often ordered from this restaurant. However, I returned this week and was extremely disappointed; the food was terrible and completely inedible.
