Smitty's Family - Melfort

I ordered fries with gravy for $8.50, and two club sandwiches with fries for $40. The food was decent, but I found the prices to be outrageous.

Smitty's is our go-to spot whenever we pass through Melfort, and we're always satisfied with both the food and service! On our latest visit, our servers—Caitlynn and Brittney—made our experience enjoyable and memorable. The Clubhouse and Slow Roasted Beef Dip were exactly what we hoped for. The restaurant was clean, and despite the heat outside, the indoor temperature was just right. While there are other dining options available, we know that every time we come here, we can expect excellent food and consistently top-notch service. Thank you for making us feel welcome, even as out-of-towners!

My order said chicken tenders . The coating was hard and cold. Asked if there was anything other than fries and I don't think he understood me . So l got , a basic meal. It was really cold inside as well. But I love the remodeling.

The food was excellent and served promptly. We visited with a large group, and everyone received their meals in no time.

4 stars just because nobody gets 5, ever.I Had the beef dip for lunch.It was out quick.A generous portion of roast beef, fresh, tender piping hot on a nice fresh bun.Fries were perfectly cooked and hot.Gravy for the fries was excellent, also hot.Au Jus was tasty. It looks like coffee but tastes like beef. Not too salty. I could have filled my travel mug and sipped it on the drive home to S'toon.Server was friendly, chipper, and attentive.Basically, you couldn't ask for a better beef dip with fries and a side of gravy.Just enough that I could finish it all but didn't need a nap after.
