Bayou Bar and Grill - Memphis

This was a nice establishment to visit. I really liked how chill and laid back the entire vibe was here. It looks small on the outside but it is pretty big on the inside. The waiter I had was nice. She checked on me regularly and made sure everything was okay. My food was amazing! The Philly cheese steak was the BOMB.com!! I also tried the blackened chicken and shrimp pasta, it was okay. But the Philly really won me over. The French fries were fresh and delicious also. Inoticed a gnat constantly hovering over my food That I had to continuously shoo away, I didn?t like that at all but The building and bathrooms were clean which is something that is a must for me. I enjoyed this business and would definitelyvisit again.

Really busy towards the end of brunch but amazing as always! Good service and great food!!! Had some of the best char broiled Gulf Coast oysters north of I-10 and the Benedict Royal (smoked salmon) was poached perfection????

I've always loved the food but not the service. I came back after a few years to find the same bad service BUT now you have to pay gratuity whether it's due or not. The lady at the desk says, after I asked about the 10% service fee for take out, that people did not tip. I told her you guys have never been known for good service. Apparently it's 18% if you dine in. Needless to say I will never. There was also .25 added for to go orders. Correction for EACH itemordered. Note I had to return to location because my food was incomplete and they refused to refund the 5.00+ service charge. It should have been since I had to return the following day on my dime and time. I brought the entire uneatenplate back.
