The Duke And Dagger - Menomonie

Duke and Dagger has permanently closed its doors. It was a fantastic place to enjoy a meal or drinks with friends.

I visited Menomonie with my daughter, who is a college student, and we decided to try this restaurant. It has a charming British-themed bar and dining area. We ordered the Tiki Marsala, the Guinness Burger, and Fish and Chips. The Fish and Chips were absolutely fantastic! However, we encountered a couple of issues with the other two dishes. Fortunately, our waiter addressed our concerns to our satisfaction. The Tiki Marsala was swapped out for the Bangers and Mash, and the burger was remade to perfection. Both the Bangers and Mash and the Guinness Burger received rave reviews from our entire table. We left feeling happy and full. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would be eager to dine there again!

The Tikka Masala is quite disappointing. It tastes more like vegetables in tomato sauce than anything else.

The Duke Dagger features talented bartenders and delicious food prepared by chefs who take pride in their culinary artistry. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and sophisticated. It's definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Dunn County area!

Our 1st time. My daughter brought me for my birthday. It was wonderful. The staff, the ambience, its so warm n cozy. What a great restaurant! The food was amazing. We can't wait to go back and try more! Scotch Eggs, OMG ! We had the rib eye, garlic mashed... SO GOOD! For dessert the poux de creme(sp? IT WAS DREAMY. next time i want one to go in an ice cream pail. If your in Menomonie, you must GO!
