Aie's Taste Of Thai - Meridian

This restaurant is the worst I have ever been to. You have to try it yourself to believe how bad it is. Despite the name implying Thai cuisine, there is no Thai taste to be found. The prices are very high for the terrible quality of the food. My stir-fried shrimp curry was nothing but potatoes. The rice was raw and inedible. It's incredible that no one else complained. It seems like an easy way for the restaurant to make money at the expense of their customers.

This is by far the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. I stopped by this restaurant while passing through town to pick up food before checking into my hotel. I ordered yellow curry with chicken and extra vegetables, but I was charged an additional $3 for the extra vegetables and my curry did not contain any chicken at all - not a single piece. The curry was thin with a faint coconut flavor, lacking any curry or spice taste. It was truly terrible. I had asked for a spice level of 3 out of 5, but it had no heat at all. The portion size was incredibly small - my entire meal, including the rice, barely filled a small container with room to spare. My husband ordered pad thai with extra vegetables and tofu, but it was bland at a spice level of 4, and they even used the wrong noodles. The portion size was small once again, and we were charged another $3 for the extra vegetables. To make matters worse, we also ordered the coconut soup, which only had three slices of mushroom and a few small pieces of onion. It was flavorless and watered down, like everything else we tried. If the restaurant were still open, I would return my meal in a heartbeat. We will certainly never eat here again.

This is probably the worst Pad Kee Mao I have ever had. The Tom Yum soup was tasty but lacked enough bamboo pieces. Nevertheless, the service was great, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I want to start by saying that when I moved back, this was my go-to spot to take all my managers and family. I have always gotten the same thing, which has always been excellent. Today I got my food; not only was it burnt because it was rushed due tomaking it wrong the first time and with no spice at all, but I looked at my check and was charged for meat. I asked the cashierwhy they ring up meat if it's veggies, and she said they don't have a button for vegetables. If I pay for meat, I might as wellget it, especially if I will be charged for it. I suggest they merely look at adding this option if it's genuinely unavailableon the new system.

The food was amazing! I can't believe it's in the middle of Meridian. The ambiance is nice and food is expectacular. It's very affordable and the staff is very sweet.
