Julia's Deli - Mt Vernon

Although it's a small space, the breakfast and lunch offerings are excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly.

The food is excellent, but there are quite a few loud patrons nearby. The restaurant is quite small, but it offers a variety of delicious Mexican dishes. While the owner can come across as rude, there is a hardworking young son who helps out, and he is quite impressive.

To begin with, the restaurant was clean and seemed well-maintained. The staff member I spoke with was friendly. However, the food was only average. My husband ordered an omelet, which he found dry, but he generally prefers it that way. I tried the Cuban sandwich and did not enjoy it at all. It was both dry and cold, and it lacked cheese.

Great food but lots of drunks nearby. Very small store but has alot of Mexican food which is tasty. Owner is rude but has a very hard working unpaid underage son working there who is valid.
