Andy's Bar Restaurant - Muineachan

After reading good reviews, we decided to try Andys. Extremely disappointed, I had the fish and chips, there was some yellow paste between the fish and the batter, fish was off white and gooey. Chips we under cooked. Nice person and was offering samples of home made vodka, however never asked us how our food was. I think 2 full plates going back was obvious. Price per person: €20–30

Eventually, our two children's meals were brought out, but mine and my wife's food still wasn’t ready. By that time, the kids had already finished eating. I expressed my frustration to the waitress, mentioning that this was terrible service, especially since we had come for a family meal. I also made sure she understood that I wasn't blaming her and that I thought the chef's service was unacceptable. When we went to pay, the man behind the bar, who I assume was the manager, didn't even have the decency to offer an apology. Upon reviewing the receipt, we noticed we were charged for items we didn't order. When I approached the bar about this issue, the manager still didn't apologize. Given the small size of the restaurant, I can’t imagine how they would handle a larger establishment.

Super atmosphere for a restaurant, the service was brilliant, the food was top quality and their selection of own drinks was a hit. Highly recommend! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
