Marco's Pizza - MURRELLS INLET

We've ordered from Marco's numerous times and have consistently been pleased with our experience. It's quite hectic in Myrtle Beach, SC at the moment, so we ask for your patience.

We ordered takeout and I arrived 45 minutes later as instructed, only to find out that my order wasn’t ready. I asked the cashier when the pizza would be ready, and he responded, “Good question.” He then went to the back, and the older gentleman at the cutting table replied, “It’ll be ready when it’s ready... why would you even ask a question like that this time of year?” I couldn't help but wonder if the older man was having a bad day or if he was just always unpleasant, so I asked the cashier about it, but he tried to brush it off. On a positive note, the pizza itself was delicious and the prices were reasonable. However, with so many other pizza places in the area—15 to be exact—I'm not inclined to tolerate poor customer service.

We dined at Marco's for the first time, and it was an excellent experience. The thin crust pizza was perfectly crispy and not overly packed with toppings. We also enjoyed the pizza loaded with all the ingredients; it was delicious. We'll definitely choose Marco's on our next visit!

Marco's is newly opened in Garden City, SC and is sure to be a hit with beach goers and residents alike. We stopped in for lunch and had the grand opening $9.95 large two topping pizza with the original crust. The crust, sauce and toppings (we had half mushrooms/black olives and half mushroom/peperoni were excellent. Food was served piping hot by our server, Hope, Beverage refills available at the service counter. You can eat in, carry out, or have delivery with a minimum $8 order in the Garden City area. (They have another location 201 Forest Drive, Suite E, in Carolina Forest, 843-796-9830. The Garden City location is excellent as it is in the same strip with Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a yogurt shop. They are at the corner of Cypress and Hwy 17 business, which is great if you are staying on Ocean Blvd.
