The Fish Shak - MURRELLS INLET

Love the Fish Shak! Food is always fantastic, one of our favorite places to go at least every month! Easy and great location! Owner is super friendly!

Awesome food! Was looking for something on beach front and found this instead. Food truck food at its finest. Triple play was perfect for the wife and myself to share.

We were in search of a quick lunch and stumbled upon the Fish Shak! The seafood is absolutely exceptional. My husband opted for the shrimp salad, a side of chips, and shrimp spring rolls. He enjoyed everything, but the shrimp spring rolls were definitely his favorite. I got the small shrimp basket with a side of sweet corn hush puppies. The shrimp were incredibly fresh and tender, and the hush puppies were among the best I've ever tried. There was only one person working the food truck, and she did an amazing job. She was consistently busy taking and preparing orders, and there were no complaints from any of the customers—she had a steady stream of patrons. Great job!

Absolutely delicious—so good that even the locals choose it! The flounder and shrimp were perfectly fried to a light crisp. The dill ranch sauce and slightly spicy remoulade were outstanding! The crispy potatoes on the side were fantastic, and even though I couldn’t finish them, my 8-year-old happily polished them off the next day. She thought they were amazing, even as day-old leftovers! There’s plenty of seating available at this food truck. You can sit at a couple of picnic tables right next to the truck, or enjoy the larger shaded bar area just a short walk away. We’re likely to return to the area in the next year or two, and we’ll definitely try to convince other family members to join us!

The food is incredible! The portion sizes are generous, and everything tastes fresh. It's all fried perfectly—no grease whatsoever. Everything is fresh, crisp, and delicious. My entire family enjoyed it! We tried the "triple play," and I highly recommend it!
