The Pier At Garden City

In the rush of things I got confused and thought I had paid. When I walked away (approx 4 steps), the bartender yelled in front of everyone for me “to pay”. I profusely apologized and gave her my card, which she took and then proceeded to talk about me to the people at the bar, roll her eyes, and shake her head. I again said it was an accident. In all, I was not impressed by the rudeness and attitude with obvious aim of making me feel bad for an honest mistake that I apologized for.

We stopped here and walked the pier with our small children. It’s free to walk this pier! It’s average in length. We saw some fish and jellyfish from the pier. There’s an arcade inside.

This is hands down the best pier in all of Myrtle Beach!!

It's awesome to watch the sharks by the swimming folks.

I really love the atmosphere in this area. It's very relaxed, and the people here are genuinely friendly and approachable. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance!
