I phoned in a to-go for a steak fajita with rice burrito: Very sad experience...... the total cost was almost $20. and the burrito was 90% rice! I recently visited Adobe Cafe for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the Tex-Mex #9 along with sweet iced tea. The chicken enchilada was fresh, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. The crispy taco was also fresh and satisfying in flavor. The chalupa was flavorful and just as tasty. The Mexican rice was moist and flavorful, while the refried beans were creamy and delightful. The sweet tea was nearly perfect. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices are on par with other similar restaurants. There is ample indoor seating and convenient off-street parking available.

The first basket of chips was complimentary, but after that, there was a charge for additional baskets. The menu had limited options, so we decided not to stay for a meal.

Outstanding shrimp tacos, refried beans, rice. Everything. We were hesitant being from out of town, Austin that is, we know good Mexican food because the place had sort of a weird atmosphere not well kept but damn the food was amazing. I've had plenty of good shrimp, but these shrimp or nothing short of spectacular.

I love their beef chimichanga because it is always top notch. I have never had any food at this location it hasn’t been anything but excellent
