MeMe's Cafe - New Hamburg

Meridith brought catered food for a party I help my mother-in-law organize at her home in New HambergShe was so helpful and nice.

Great little coffee shop. Rustic, friendly, Pastries are homemade, lunches delicious! Pricing is very good,

Service is always prompt and helpful. There is always water available and big clear menu stating the specials. Love the feta salad! I have never ordered anything that wasn't delicious. Especially love that the food is local and fresh!

My wife and I skipped both Tim Horton’s and McDonald’s on the main highway to try a local New Hamburg street café looking for some local charm and old fashioned taste treats. MeMe’s ticked the first box but fell short on the second. Service was friendly but our maple scone was dry and tasteless and the orange pekoe tea similarly flavourless. Better stick with the steeped tea at Timmie’s. The coffee menu may have been a better mid-afternoon choice but this time anyway, colour me disappointed.

Great lunch spot, good friendly service, awesome baked goods, nice menu, clean restaurant, certainly worth a try.
