Gita Pita - New Orleans

Fries were undercooked and soggy. the Greek Fries did not reflect the picture on the app. Barely any feta cheese. But the Chicken Shawarma was very good.

The restaurant failed to inform me that they were out of lentil soup. The steak was chewy and the pita bread was inedible, it was tough like rubber!

The food was mediocre. The tabouli seemed to be missing and instead, the dish consisted of cucumber, tomato, and parsley. The chicken shawarma was also not up to par. The tzatziki sauce appeared to be more like mayo, which was odd and not enjoyable. Overall, the experience was strange and the food was not enjoyable.

The Shawarma was delicious, but it would be better if the sauce was served on the side.

I have been frequenting Greek Fox recently and this hidden gem exceeded my expectations. The server was understanding of my lack of experience with Mediterranean cuisine. I appreciate the option to customize my gyro with various toppings. The food was fresh and delicious.
