Shari's Cafe And Pies - Newberg

I always enjoy coming to this restaurant when Makayla and Ally are working. Makayla has been a standout leader for a few years and I have seen her growth. True warriors like her are hard to find. Ally is always full of energy and has a charming personality with a constant smile. Even though Leah wasn't working tonight, she is also one of my favorites and has a kind heart. The team at this restaurant has been able to maintain a positive attitude through the virus and always greets customers with a smile.

I visited this restaurant alone on a night with a moderate amount of customers. I ordered two pancakes and was told they would be with me shortly. After waiting over 20 minutes for them to take my order and then another 20 minutes for the pancakes to arrive, I was disappointed with how they looked on the outside. However, once I tried them, they were actually quite good. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up from the staff to ask about my meal. It seemed like they were too busy to prioritize my experience. I eventually decided to pay and leave, feeling frustrated with the poor service. To make matters worse, I was charged $7 for two pancakes that I didn't even enjoy. I expressed my disappointment to one of the employees, suggesting they focus on cooking the pancakes thoroughly. Overall, the subpar service ruined what could have been an exciting dining experience.

Makayla was professional and hospitable on Sunday night, and although it seemed that the other workers struggled makayla did a great task in the exercise and helped them. I will come back my food was good and she was so shady and her smile and customer services was so merciful and warm!

I am a big fan of Sheri's. I frequent various locations at least once a month, but I have had many negative experiences at this particular one. Today, I ordered the 16oz T-bone steak with broccoli on the side to go. When I got back home, I found that they had given me raw broccoli. I was shocked that they couldn't even bother to cook it. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Sheri's in Newberg.

Our Newberg Shari's is great! Been going there for close to 30 yrs. Still some of the same fantastic employees and some great new ones. The food has always been really good, with the exception of a few random times over the years. But that happens at all restaurants, right? And then there's the pies!!! Oh my, the pies! ? ?
