I haven't been here in 8 years and the taste of the food hasn't changed a bit. Classic Omaha steak house. A+ on the service.
I went here with a large group of local friends and family, many of whom had not visited Anthony's in years. Although it was a nostalgic visit for many it felt like a place my parents would have visited and now needs some updating. Food was okay but a bit pricey and service not equal to prices we were charged.
Located off 72nd & F in an area you would not really expect to find a steakhouse. Opened by Anthony Fucinaro, they are one of the old original Italian Steakhouses in Omaha and they've been serving it up for almost 50 years at this current location. I hear there's been some change in ownership in recent years,, but I'm not sure who owns and runs it these days. I stopped in for lunch and was disappointed to discover their lunch menu is fairly small and not a particularly great value either. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich off of their dinner menu for $12. It was just okay. Decent portion, but just sort of "meh" on flavor and texture. The wait staff didn't have that upscale steakhouse vibe to them. Instead, it was more of a truck stop diner vibe. They weren't particular great at their job, but think since they've been waiting tables for 30+ years that they have carte blanche. Mostly, I found it annoying. My parents used to eat here when I was a kid for various special occasions and us kids always had to stay at home with a sitter. So, I guess I had put it up on a pedestal which it just fell off of. If I feel like spending the money to eat at a steakhouse, then I guess Anthony's just isn't at the top of my list. I don't dislike the place, but it's just okay and it needs to be great at this price point serving this kind of cuisine. They need to lose the elderly vibe of the wait staff, clientèle, and menu or they're going to go out of business like almost every other Italian steakhouse in Omaha.

Unbelievable service! Many staff members checking on us frequently. Lovely atmosphere, quality food, timely service. Not to mention, we came at 8 pm on a Saturday with a baby, and everyone was incredibly sweet and accommodating.
