Kra Z Kai's Bbq - Ontario

We've never had Lao food, but it's Asian food, so I know it'll be close to what we know. Since we've been here a few times since they opened, we have tried a few things in their menu. What stood out for me is the sausage and with the sticky rice. I also love their sauces. It's inside Rodeo X, in the New Haven Marketplace plaza. The place is fast food style with Rodeo X seems to be the main scene(mostly for alcohol) the place can be packed and loud on weeknights with music and almost a party scene.

This is the best Laotian BBQ chicken around! They have a spot in the corner of the New Haven food court, so I think not many people are aware of it. However, their BBQ is outstanding. My favorites are the chicken and pork ribs. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend trying the Lao BBQ Mix Plate and the BBQ Pork Ribs!

Today, my husband and I visited Kra Z Kai's BBQ, and we were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and delicious the food was! Everything we tried tasted fantastic. I ordered the chicken, and it was incredible—so juicy! The sauce that accompanies the chicken is also delightful and complements it perfectly. My husband opted for the combo plate, which included chicken, beef, a rib (not sure if it was pork or beef), and a sausage link. I almost forgot to mention their papaya salad, which was also delightful! He also ordered the beef jerky, and wow, that was delicious! Each plate comes with your choice of rice, and they have a variety to choose from: fried rice, brown rice, and white rice! He also got a tasty papaya salad, which paired wonderfully with the entire meal. While it was a bit pricey, given the current state of the world and the ongoing food rationing, we found it to be understandable. The food and service were definitely worth it! I really enjoyed the chicken, and my husband loved his dish as well. I think it's safe to say we'll be returning for more!
