Marcello's Cucina Italiana - Oregon

I ordered takeout and the food was alright but noticed a two dollar surcharge and when I asked what that was for they said it was for the takeout container and plastic fork and knife. I asked if they had a certain charge when people take home leftovers and they said no. Just seems kind of tacky adding on for .10 worth of plastic and bag and showing that on the bill

Special event made even better with great food, people and setting.

Arrived literally as they opened doors at 4:30 so were seated immediately. Wife and I shared a salad and I had a calzone which was very flavorful with some spice heat. Wife had fries and a garden- burger piled high with tomato, pickle, lettuce and a most tasty brioche bun. Very pleasant and attentive server. Will return without hesitation.

Food is delicious Friendly staff but not having soup is a bummer Ministroni soup usually is a key for a Italian restaurant. The bar is so pretty. The down side the restaurant is really plain

The drive from Medford on our anniversary to Marcello's was worth every mile. The staff very knowledgeable with the menu to glide you right to that mouth watering dinner you expected. The ravioli dish displayed by the chef was of perfection. I highly recommend for fine dining, look no more. Sunriver is your destination.
