The flavors were incredibly authentic, and the chef is truly amazing! My husband, who is American, also enjoyed the food immensely. Since I have celiac disease, the server was fantastic in suggesting gluten-free options for me. We both agreed that it would absolutely be worth flying to Palm Springs just to eat here again!
This charming bistro offers some of the best food in the desert! My husband ordered the pollo al pobre, which came in generous portions and featured wonderfully flavorful, tender grilled chicken breast. Even the plantains were the best he's ever had—such a simple side that really enhances the dish. I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic vegetarian options available. Unlike many restaurants that treat vegetarian meals as an afterthought, simply offering a salad or a Beyond Burger, this bistro provides delicious and satisfying options for everyone. The prices are reasonable, and each dish we tried was certainly worth it. The soy meat saltado was outstanding, and the sides complemented the dish perfectly. The sauces accompanying each meal were so tasty that we didn't leave any behind. This was our first meal at Inka, but we’ll definitely be returning regularly!
We enjoyed the ceviche de pescado (fish ceviche), parihuela (seafood soup in tomato broth), and tallarín verde con bistec (steak and spaghetti with green sauce)—all were delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. While the waitstaff were friendly and courteous, it seemed they were overwhelmed. I noticed only three waitstaff on duty, and during the 80 minutes we spent there, several groups were seated, but only one left. By the time we departed, the restaurant was nearly full. I hope management can hire more staff to improve service speed. While we weren’t in a hurry this evening, not everyone will be in the same situation. It's better to ensure reasonable serving times and attentiveness to guests rather than keeping them waiting. I highly recommend visiting for the food, but be prepared for a lengthy wait.
We had dinner there while watching the light parade show. Had a great time. Food was great. Had a great table. We stayed as long as we wanted to without pressure; even though we don't drink. Kids ate a lot. And they're picky.
We support our local restaurants and try new ones. This week we chose Inka Peruvian cuisine. Ordering online was very easy. Because of a computer problem, I had to confirm, but the hostess was so nice, it wasn't a problem. Our food was ready to go when we arrived and packed nice. Great flavors we drove home. When unpacking our feast, we realized what we received a lot. The food was nicely prepared, containing several spices. Everything was delicious and very generous in portions. We will add Inka to our repeat list.
