China Kitchen - Parkersburg

A server accidentally dropped a wonton on the floor, picked it up, and put it in the deep fryer. An older gentleman saw me watching and said something to her in Chinese. She then used tongs to retrieve it and threw it away. It makes me wonder what happens when we don’t see them drop food on the floor.

This was our first time visiting, and it was the best Chinese food we've had since moving here a few years ago. We ordered pork lo mein and chicken lo mein, but when we got home, the chicken lo mein turned out to be shrimp lo mein instead. If we had received the correct order, this would have been a 5-star review for the food.

The food is consistently excellent, and there are plenty of options to choose from. I've been dining here for over eight years and have never encountered a bad order. However, I haven't experienced their small dining area, so I can't comment on that. Unfortunately, they started significantly increasing their prices at the onset of COVID-19, and they have continued to raise them beyond what other local dine-in or take-out places charge in the area. It's disappointing because the food is great, but the excessive pricing has led me to stop ordering here. I can take my family to one of the best sit-down restaurants around for prices comparable to what this place charges for what should be reasonably priced food. It's a shame.

When your wife is sick and wants Chinese you drive all over town only to find this to be the only tale out spot open on a Sunday. Thank you, and it was delicious

Great place, I honestly can't say how much I like to eat here.
