Third Street Deli has locations in Marietta, Ohio and Parkersburg, so I made the drive to check it out. I parked outside the building and walked in to find a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and soups on the menu. I believe a deli is an important addition to any dining scene, and I wish Morgantown had one as good as this. The dining area is spacious with plenty of small tables. You place your order at the counter, then find a seat to enjoy your meal. There is also outdoor seating available for nice weather, which I'll have to try next time.
This restaurant is a special and charming place to dine. It is the sister restaurant to the one in Marietta and offers the same delicious food. The menu includes sandwiches like the vegetarian "Feta Fetish" and the classic chicken cordon bleu. They also have daily specials, with my personal favorite being the Aztec Chowder on Thursdays. The prices are reasonable for a quick meal during the workday, but the quality is worth it. The owner grows many of their own ingredients, ensuring that everything is fresh and flavorful.
