Peekskill Brewery

This place was absolutely fantastic! After a three-hour hike nearby, my future brother-in-law and I decided to grab some food and beer, and we were not disappointed. The beer selection was outstanding, and the quality of the food was excellent. They also offer vegan options for those with dietary restrictions.

The atmosphere was quite unconventional. There were no servers or hosts, which created a free-for-all environment when it came to finding a table. Additionally, there were no physical menus, just QR codes to order from your phone—a setup that seems to have lingered since the pandemic. It's reminiscent of a McDonald's, but with beer. If you had a question about a beer or food item, good luck trying to get anyone's attention. I had to ask for silverware, and I was never offered water. The pizza tasted like it came straight from a microwave, and the Cuban sandwich was nothing more than deli meat—no pickle in sight. The beer was decent, but not good enough for me to return. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The beer was good, but the food was just okay. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired; the staff seemed more focused on their own conversations and phones than attending to customers. The loud dance music made for an atmosphere more fitting for a nightclub than a brewery during lunchtime. On a positive note, the location is very convenient. Overall, I would rate my likelihood of returning as 3 out of 10.

Good beer, good pizza and good music! I ordered the the Hazy IPA and a taco pizza both hut the spot! Heard Helmet's Unsong on the sound system and was transported to my youth (along with the other songs on the playlist lol) adding to the experience! Both indoor and outdoor seating in a quiet part of town. Definitely stop here for a pint or 3 if there IPA, sours, Ales, andciders!
