Rusconi's American Kitchen - Phoenix

This is our favorite place for upscale dining. When foodie friends come to town they demand we bring them here. Michael Rusconi never fails to surprise us. Example, this time the beet salad had been updated much to our pleasure. While we loved the previous version the new salad was even better. A few weeks ago we had an updated and creative take on escargot. For mains we had the salmon, another favorite and the beef medallions, always excellent. For dessert we shared the Jar of the Day. You will have to try it. Service was superb as usual. Fritz, one of our favorite servers, spotted us as we walked in the door. He immediately came and escorted us to our table. Coming to Rusconi 's is like coming home to family and friends!

We have been to Rusconi's so many times and always go back because we love it. We went last night for my husband's birthday. It was the first time the food wasn't up to it's usual greatness. The meal was very nice, our server was awesome, but...I was hoping for our usual wonderful experience we have always had there and it was just good. A few of us were hoping to have the scallops and it was the one thing they were out of on the menu. Hopefully, it was just an off night.

We had a great dinner on Sunday. Food was great, service was great. When the specials were announced we were told there were only four servings left of the Mussels . We claimed two of them and it happened! Food and flavors were interesting and plated well. When leaving 4 staff thanked us for dining with them. We could actually carry on a conversation with our group of four. So unheard of now a days where noise matters more than food quality or service. I saw the chef deliver some meals to customers. We will be back!

DService and food good. small restaurant and has 2 top along a wall for a tight dining experience. The restaurant identified it was our first time dining here and brought us a little complementary starter. Nice. Food portion was perfect. Tasted very good. Desert of blueberry cheesecake was a neutral experience. Waiter Rex was attentive and his service was quite good

A predictable wonderful experience. Chose it to celebrate Father's Day. Two of us enjoyed the specials along with an entree. Food is spot on delicious with the use of great quality food cooked to order as desired. Shrimp, flank steak, pork tenderloin were all amazing and portions were fair for the price. Waiter paced our meal time well from appetizers through dessert.
