The manager made it to me by giving us a free dessert. It was my first visit so that the part was a bummer, but the dessert definitely made for it. Great regulars who go there... we met a few and made new friends. All great experiences and will definitely return!
The food was simply delicious! We started with the calamari, and while the lemon butter sauce was a bit heavier than I'd prefer, Matt really enjoyed it. All of our cocktails were equally delightful—refreshing and flavorful. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic evening, and I appreciated the live music as well! We also enjoyed some complimentary cheesy garlic bread that was simply irresistible. For my main course, I had the duck, which was divine! I managed to eat about half of it, saving the rest for lunch the next day, and it was just as good reheated. Matt ordered the bone-in ribeye, which was cooked to perfection; we ended up saving half of that for a second meal too. For dessert, we chose the cheesecake. It was light and fluffy—definitely worth every calorie!
Charming and intimate atmosphere. The Margaritas and Martinis were delightful. The filet mignon with black pepper sauce was outstanding. The potatoes practically melted in the mouth. The corn on the cob was superb, and the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious.
This is a classic steakhouse offering solid, tasty food. However, I found the cocktails could have been a bit stronger—my Manhattans were short on the pour. I also didn't like that the smoking area is accessible through a door near the bar, which lets the unpleasant smoke into the dining area. It seemed a bit too early in the evening for live entertainment, although I do appreciate that they offer earlier performances. If you order the duck, make sure to request the relish tablet separately—it should be included with the entrée according to the menu, but I had to argue with the bartender about it before showing him the menu. Prices are reasonable, but be prepared with cash for the mandatory on-site parking. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but there are a few areas for improvement.
First time coming here for lunch. Food is always outstanding but had a turkey Ruben and was a bit dry. Wife's sea bass was excellent and chopped salad was great as well. Drinks are always strong and service is always good.
