Well ... arrived at 12 noon to be told no sites available because other people had phoned and booked them this morning! So much for not taking bookings, lost our business for ever. The Lazy Lizard turned out to be heaps better anyway
Lots to look at and see inside pub/restaurant. Has a good feeling and a nice atmosphere. Good food. Would visit again if we were in the area
We called into Pine Creek on our way to Katherine and discovered this little place. The food was plentiful and delicious and it was nice to sit round the pool and enjoy. The surrounds were immaculate and there is plentiful of railway memorabilia to look at. Well worth the stop.
Bar,food minimum cost $17 a microscopic pizza , but was quite tasty. Drinks not cheap by any standard. Cabins clean and tidy but very cramped inside, all mod cons: TV Wi Fi etc but traffic noise very annoying. Pleasant staff and busy. Parking a bit of a nightmare especially for a 4WD.Ho Hum, it was the last resort which had any vacancies due to a local festival. About $130 per night, Free continental breakfast included. Bacon and eggs would probably hurt the Credit Card!!
What a cute venue. The restaurant was such a treat, the meals were beautiful and the venue was well maintained. Totally not what you'd expect in this tiny town. Have dinner here! The venue offered a couple of camp spots (only a couple with grass) and for us it was perfect, because we had the space to ourselves. It looked like most campers were at the Lazy Lizards venue across the road, and this venue, the Pine Creek Railway Resort seemed like it was more the up-market venue.
