Historic Calumet Inn - Pipestone

We had a pleasant experience at the hotel. The room was quite cold, and one of the outlet sets was out of order, but this actually contributed to the overall atmosphere. We stayed during their haunted weekend, so we embraced the chill and found warmth with a space heater and some cozy snuggling. The complimentary breakfast was standard, but the on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent—quick, affordable, and the food was delicious! The restored bathroom had a nostalgic charm, reminiscent of years past, which brought about a few chuckles. Overall, it was a well done experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

My experience was okay. I had expected it to be nicer than it turned out to be. The staff were friendly and helpful. One downside was that the elevator on the third floor doesn't open from the outside, which made it a bit inconvenient to navigate stairs with my luggage. The restaurant attached to the hotel is closed on Mondays, but there is a Pizza Ranch next door and another restaurant directly across the street. On a positive note, the hotel was very quiet, and the air conditioning worked well.

Rooms: Stunning antique decor and very comfortable. Food & Drinks: There’s a lovely little coffee shop on-site. Noteworthy Details: Rich in history and notably haunted.

The historic Pipestone Hotel features stylish furnishings and well-appointed rooms, complete with refrigerators and microwaves. We had a big family and friends weekend, and everyone loved their accommodations and overall experience. The hotel is also pet-friendly, allowing furry companions in the rooms. It would be great if the hotel coffee shop were open for breakfast, as it would provide added convenience for guests.

The restaurant has an eerie atmosphere, almost as if it's haunted, and the overall vibe is quite unsettling. While the antique furniture is lovely, the rest of the place feels reminiscent of walking into a haunted house.
