Not the cheapest as far a Club food goes, but everything that was served up was delicious. Unlike other Club bistros it didn't pretend to be something it's not. Staff were friendly, atmosphere good, nice outlook over the course.
The menu on their website described their roast of the day as having 'baked potatoes, carrot, pumpkin, Yorkshire pudding'. Well, it did have carrot (although not cooked well), but there was NO pumpkin or Yorkshire pudding, and the potato wasn't baked, but rather cooked in the jacket with sour cream poured all over it (strange for a roast dinner!). The meat was fatty and in chunks, not sliced properly. Please change your website menu to give a more accurate description so that people know what to expect, because we would not have driven all the way there if we had known. The view was stunning, shame about the food
Aspire is a bistro in which you enter as soon as you walk into the golf club. The food was average, garlic prawns was ok but the rice on the side was not cooked properly, salt and chilli squid was nice as was the prawn pasta but the crispy skin salmon was not the worth the money - it came with 4 stalks of asparagus and 2 sea scallops and was from memory $30 odd dollars and to top it off the staff got our order wrong so we missed out on one of our mains. Would probably not visit again.
I recently dined at Aspire Restaurant and was impressed with the delicious food and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back again in the future.
