Big O Milk Bar - Portland

Again with a need for coffee and a quick snack I ventured into the Big O and the great news is it hasn't changed it's level of friendly efficient service. The food was served quickly and the coffee was excellent as always. Haven't been here for a few years but their reputation for great service continues and is well known around town.

This is becoming an annual pilgrimage as part of our family Christmas trips to western districts Victoria. Per last year, couldn't be happier. Friendly staff and really fresh tasty fish and chips. Will be back next year (and remember, it is inland on Otway street, not in the main beach drag)

I'm an American who worked on a spud farm in Portland for about five months. I had a Jumbo burger at the Big'O' at least (at least) three times a week for lunch, each one was more satisfying than the last. I would also often take fish and chips home for dinner. If you are making your way around and go through Portland, VIC, a stop at the Big'O' is an absolute must. A great take away for a day trip to Cape Bridgewater.

This little corner store business has unique selling point, in that it has very fast service, and good efficient service by staff, they have hot food ready to go over lunchtimes, so you can run in, grab a burger with the lot, can of drink or juice, pay and out the door in under 5-7 minutes most days, I have been a regular client for years, never had bad tucker from there. staff are friendly.

Without doubt 'The Big O Milk Bar' has the freshest and reasonably priced assortment of takeaway food in Portland. Thoroughly recommended.
