Fast Eddie's Coffee - Portland

I visited Len's Bakery based on a coworker's recommendation for their doughnuts and I am so happy that I did.

I used to visit this place often when I was a child and always believed that they had the most delicious donuts. Now, 15 years later, after returning to the area, I brought my daughter here and she agrees.

I arrived at the cafe just before 3 pm and it was clear that they were about to close. The tea and coffee were quite good, nice and hot, but the variety of slices was limited. The scone with jam and cream looked a bit old and dry. Overall, there are both better and worse cafes in Portland.

Quick polite service, the tasting dish of slices weakened my temptation, yummy slices. Love the fact that I can purchase prepaid sandwiches, great when your in a hurry. The coffee was good. I'll be back and just over the road from the Post Office.

This is fairly new business in Portland, just 12 months old, however has established a good reputation for good coffee and fast food, albeit delivered slow some-days, shortage of staff. Had a dynamic waitress leave, while back, Ed needs to get more staff for lunchtime rush, 20 minutes+ for toasted sandwiches bit slow, pleasant owner, good attitude.
