They have a cheap set of menu but most of them were good. My favorite was their spring rolls and their barbecue tofu. Been here for more that 3 times already and the people were really nice and friendly. I wish all the good luck to this restaurant and their team!
A very fine restaurant. it was crowded when i went yday at c.1.30 always a good sign. the waitresses were friendly and efficient and waiting time was not excessive. i had an excellent and very nourishing soup and two marvellous bread rolls, baked in the european style, crusty with a soft centre, not sickly sweet like the ones you buy in a bakery in the philppines. on top of this i also had rice and a medley of vegetables, tofu and veg protein. couldn't tell you if it had msg or not! but it was very nice! i would have like to try the spring rolls as everyone else was eating them, but i simply had no room! it was all very filling. came to PHP175 which is very reasonable.
I had this place recommended to me by another traveler and wow is it work a visit. The food is great, with loads of different opens and all really affordably priced.
All vegetarian food including meat substitutes! They even had quorn on the menu which equals bonus points! I did not try any of the fake meat dishes but they are an excellent option. The menu has variety and the food is local, as a veggie traveler it was so refreshing to have choice! Also to not worry about hidden meat! The food overall is not the best food you’ll ever eat, but it is nice. The fresh noodles were great, the veggies are cooked well and the spring rolls are fantastic. However, rice was stodgy and over cooked. The food and drink is really really cheap! 30 peso for kangklong, 45 peso for veg and rice and 40 peso for fruit shakes! Also the staff are very friendly! The restaurant is a little small so you might feel a little squished but I think it adds character. Come here for cheap and filling veggie food!
I had an amazing experience at Namaskar during my visit to Puerto Princesa. I dined there twice and was impressed by the excellent food and service both times. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, but my favorites were the BBQ skewers and Vietnamese soup - both bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. It can be challenging to find vegan/vegetarian options in the Philippines, but Namaskar exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself had a charming ambiance with lots of greenery, making it a peaceful dining spot. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend Namaskar for a fantastic dining experience. Thank you to the Namaskar team!
