Malaka Spice - Pune

I ordered veg spring roll not at all extra oily, Veg Combo 2, and Mutton soup.

What is this place!! We had food from here for the first time and our tastebuds were blown away with the dance of flavors. We ordered veg dishes and had low expectations but they won our hearts on all levels serving size, packing, extras, taste, traditional flavors and so on. We ordered spring rolls, thai red curry, kari kapitan and roti jhala. Husband eats non vegetarian but in this case even he didn’t complain and nicely licked away the bowls. They sent 4 sauces along and each curry and sauce was unique and had its place. It’s very rarely that we write reviews until too positive or negative and this one was 10 on 10. Thank you for the experience!!

Had ordered the non veg combo meal option (one). Good quality and quantity, the packaging was also upto the mark.<br/ Slightly overpriced but still worth a try.<br/

Picked up the veg combo meal B. Instead of the raw papaya salad we had the ginger cucumber salad in our box, but that was not a problem since it tasted surprisingly tangy. The spring roll was crispy and yet not dripping with oil. Coriander rice and honey noodles was above average. Lastly, the malaka Thai green curry that had baby corn, capsicum, mushroom and broccoli pieces was a little too sweet to my liking. Overall, a decent dinner combo box.

On a friend’s recommendation I decided to try Malaka Spice. Ordered Basil chicken and burnt garlic rice and both were spot on. The food made me HAPPY. Basil chicken was just how I like it and I’m glad I tried this place. I’d love to try more whenever I’m back in Pune.
