Unlimited samgyupsal at a good price, definitely must try their seafood pancake (thick and flavourful), the seafood soup (rich and even had crab), the beef barbeque (can't remember the name but real tender), and do ask for the kimchi fries if you're adventurous. The soy bbq chicken was just alright though. Overall a great experience. Ambience: Good Taste: Good, meat was good, ala carte dishes were rich Presentation: Great Value: Great, good bargain Service: Good, attentive staff and kind manager Overall: Great, would visit again when my Korean cravings kick in
Went here for lunch with some friends. Not busy at all! We ordered the all you can eat beef and pork for 449P. It came with sides: salad, bean sprouts, kimchi and potato salad. Rice is also unlimited. The meat here is good quality! My issue is the sides. They give one small plate with a very small portion of the side. We had to keep asking for bean sprouts, kimchi and the potato salad. Way too small for 5 people. You would think after asking more than 3 times that they would start giving more than a small plate. The restaurant is clean. They use a portable burner top not the built into the table cooking tops. Also I didn't smell so much of meat after leaving the place. I guess they had good air flow in their. I love the Korean music they play! For 449P you are paying for good quality meat. Too bad the sides weren't like how they are at Sodam. Their other items actually look very delicious. Maybe next time instead of all you can eat I'll just try the items they have. Kimchi fries anyone? :
I never really liked kimchi, but Leann's Tea House is the most highly-rated restaurant on my street. And I'll be damned if this intrepid food adventurer missed out on an opportunity for good eats. I had the unlimited samgyeopsal and woosamgyup, and you get a lot of pork and beef for 449 pesos. LTH could easily be your barkada's new go-to place for drinks and grilled meat. At a price that's pretty hard to beat. I am definitely coming back for the beef stew.
This is probably the only Korean restaurant I know with no Koreans dining in (well, none during my visit), as most customers are Chinese-Filipino. One reason probably is that the owners are Chinese-Filipino. A sister married a Korean and named their daughter Leann, hence the name of the resto. Leann's tea house is a hole-in-a-wall resto along Mother Ignacia St that serves healthy Korean food. Their staffs are very polite and cheerful. They also have a very appetizing menu and even more delicious dishes. We came in hungry so we ordered more than we should. We tried their new dish, Cheese Buldak. It is a spicy chicken dish topped with meon (rice cake) and mozzarella dish. The spiciness of the dish was countered by the cheese. A great dish that doesn't lack in flavor. Would highly recommend this dish for someone who would try something unique. They also offer a challenge on this dish, if you can finish the dish in 5 minutes or less, it's free. Seems easy, but the main challenge will be eating the toasted rice cakes. Aside from the new dish, we tried something from their menu, Kimchi Jigae and Seafood Pancake. The kimchi jigae (soup) came with rice and it was a complete meal. My wife loved this dish because of the equal amount of spiciness and sourness. She said it was her first time to give up on kimchi because there was a lot. The pork was a bit tough though, but not really a problem. When the seafood pancake came out, I was surprised by its huge size. Then I wondered why it was thick because it would be filling and different from what I know. After my first bite, it was heaven. The coating was very crispy and fun to eat. You can also see shrimps and squid. I like this dish because it has a substantial amount of vegetables that gives it a good crunch, and healthier too. It is well-seasoned and not oily. A highly addictive dish! While we are waiting for the food to be served, we were given four appetizers in generous amounts: kimchi, potato salad, vegetable salad with gochujiang sauce, and bean sprouts. Everything was great. I like the potato salad best because it was not overly creamy that you can taste the potato in every bite. The appetizers are free and unlimited (you can re-order). We were also served with a barley tea (hot or cold). Something they have that attracted me to come back for events is they have unlimited samgyeupsal for only Php349 and unlimited samgyeupsal (pork) and woosamgyup (beef) for only Php449. This is my first time to dine here and it will definitely not be my last time. The menu looked so appetizing that I want to try all of them. Besides, they use natural and healthy flavors. Definitely a must try!
Worst Korean food I ever had. There is no redeeming quality for their food nor service. The food has no flavor and their servers are rude. I am not sure how this place received more than 1 star rating.
