However, last night I was disappointed with the quality of the steak. It was very tough, chewy, and almost tasted like it had been reheated. I am not sure if this restaurant will continue to be our top choice at Morgan Street Food Hall.
This is the best hibachi I have tried in Raleigh, although I have yet to find one that can compare to my favorite back home. The meals cost around $15 each, but are large enough to potentially split with someone else, especially because the meat and veggie portions are generous. The rice serving is enough for one person. The veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly, but appeared to be sitting in oil that may have been poured into the container in large quantities. Next time, I will request for the oil to be left out. Only bottled drinks are available for purchase, such as water, coke products, and Gatorade. The crab rangoon was delicious.
I always choose MSFH for a reason - the food is consistently good quality. They offer options without rice and allow you to exclude certain vegetables. I haven't tried the sushi, but the hibachi is delicious. It may be a bit expensive, but that's to be expected at a food hall.
The salad I paid $3.95 for was just spring salad mix shredded carrots. The chicken and shrimp hibachi meal I ordered was swimming in some greasy, watery sauce. The rice was the only appetizing thing I received. I have ordered from Yoho SushiBurrito prev, more than twice and this tie was a HUGE disappointment.
Got the shrimp tempura appetizer the shrimp tempura burrito...and I've found my HAPPY place. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. I'll DEFINITELY be ordering again.
