Bolay - Royal Palm Beach

I really enjoy this location. It’s always clean, and there’s a great variety of food options, including meat. The staff is friendly and attentive in the dining areas. The bathrooms are also clean. Overall, the food is fresh, and I have a wonderful experience every time I visit.

I am extremely disappointed. I used to LOVE visiting this location, but after finally returning today for the first time in a few months, I was craving it. I’ve always appreciated the quality of the food they offered, but it's evident that something has changed. I’m convinced they’ve switched their supplier for the meat and have replaced the chef as well. The quality has decreased significantly while prices have gone up. I won't be returning. Just look at the picture of the steak—it looks terrible. The black rice isn't what it used to be, and the Asian noodles have a plastic-like texture.

The prices are quite steep for what you get, and I've noticed that the portion sizes seem to be decreasing. Additionally, there's now a mandatory tip option that feels hard to bypass. On top of that, they frequently change the menu items and sauces. I used to really enjoy this place, but these issues are concerning.

I have always loved Bolay but the location on 441 gives the smallest portions I have ever experienced in all the years of enjoying their food. Also, they sometimes offer just one veggie choice for the regular bowl. Depends on the day. I’ve never experienced this at any other location. Thinking I will avoid this location going forward :

Really doing this review because of the customer service and a specific employee that stood out to me, she was at the cash register checking out and attended to me for a pick up order in such an effortless fashion while the place had 15+ people in line. You can tell she is rocking it. Wasn’t able to get her name, but I wish I could’ve. Only thing I remembered was the hat and possibly curly hair in a bun. Thank you for being you ! Super sweet as well
