One of our favorite spots for special occasions, we always look forward to a night at Moxie. Made a reservation over the phone personally with Adam for 730 tonight only to find we weren 't on the list when we arrived. We stood at the bar as people scurried around us. Low and behold, Governor Newson and his family walked in right behind us and of course were promptly seated. Not too long after, another couple came in and apparently suffering the same fate as us, and sat at the bar. We asked again about our reservations and again were told we weren 't on the list . A mistake? I think not. We left very dissappointed.

A moment of opportunity. Don't let it pass you by. One of Sacramento's genuine Gem's. Over 35 year's Adam has given all the best a person can expect in a dining experience as an owner operater. One of the few places left here, where you feel a sense of pride, dedication, and true comfort in the local neighborhood. Nothing last forever. P.S. Love the hand written receipts. How cool is that!
