Du Bruit a la Cave

I must say first off that I know the owners but this has NOT had much to do with my review. This is a honest review and you will not be disappointed. The ambience of the restaurant is welcoming, pleasant and spotlessly clean. The staff and hosts are very genuine and helpful. The wine and whisky selection is mouth watering. Now the food !!!! First class in presentation and flavour. Not one complaint. Certainly worth a visit. Colin.

Excellent service and food! Shortly after we had placed our orders the waiter brought us our main courses. The staff was very nice and attentive. I had some very good meat, served with a delicate and savoury sauce and chips. I have rarely eaten such good chips as side dish, they were home-made! As dessert I enjoyed a delicious tarte tatin. A wide choice of good wines is provided. I also appreciated the atmosphere of the restaurant. Not only was the location warm and welcoming, but also very clean and tidy. I highly recommend Du bruit à la cave for enjoying excellent quality dishes surrounded by a lovely atmosphere!

We came across Du bruit a la cave by chance. We had rented an AirB&B nearby but the flat was not ready due to urgent work. The owner who often goes to the restaurant ordered a bottle of wine for us. Once the works were finished, we decided to return to the restaurant to have dinner. Lots of choice, very French food items (such as charcuterie, escargots) and very good staff. When an error in ordering was only realised at the time we were served, they were more than happy to get us the correct item. The restaurant is not cheap but is worth it. You may also have trouble finding suitable food if you are vegetarian. However it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Superb food and very good service. Dont forget to taste the wines. Their speciality. The neighbourhood where the restaurant is located is also tres pitoresque.
