Lunds Byerlys Prior Lake - Saint Paul

A friend and I ate supper at Cafe Creations in Lund's Byerly's. My friend had fish, potatoes, and veggies. I had wild rice with ham soup. Everything was good. We especially enjoyed the restaurant balcony seating overlooking the grocery store. Cozy and private. Seating is also available on the main floor with soda and water nearby for self service. We are not drinkers but there is also bar service available for those who do. My husband and I also went to Creations Cafe craving soup on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately it was gone by 4:30 pm so get there early.

The mustard chips are the best, only place that sells them

Love this store and shop there often.....but they rarely have any fried chicken....either fresh or cold. Very disappointing.

I can't comment on the grocery store, as we only visited the attached café, but I truly wish we had discovered this place sooner. It's an excellent spot for lunch with colleagues or family, offering something for everyone. It features a pay-by-weight buffet with a fantastic salad bar, a hot bar serving classics like fried chicken and pasta, an Asian bar with fried rice and various dishes, as well as a Mexican bar. There's also sushi available. They seem to rotate some items daily, and the quality is consistently outstanding. The prices are quite reasonable too. However, I wish they would consider adding a soda fountain, especially with fresh-brewed tea options, as currently, all beverages are bottled.
