Hidden Fish - San Diego

The price was reasonable and overall it was decent. However, I was hoping for a more authentic sushi experience. Some of the sushi options didn't appeal to me as I'm not a fan of raw or aged fish that have been grilled.

This place will ruin all other sushi for you. I never knew fish could taste so good. Also the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. However be prepare to pay a pretty penny, but if you can swing it then it is totally worth the experience.

The depth of each piece is truly amazing. The freshness of the fish/seafood, the layers of texture, the combination of the ingredients that enriches the piece, and the progression of the menu were all well thought out and executed. The customer service was attentive. Remarkable experience!

This is a very nice experience at Hidden Fish for my 33rd Bday! My husband booked the seat a while ago and he knows how much I love sushi. This is definitely a nice choice to celebrate my Bday dinner. It’s omakase, including 18 nigiri or hand rolls. My favorite overall are sea bass from Greece, stripes jack from Japan and local Uni salmon rolls. We also had a bottle of rose, which is quite nice. Plus a couple of orders after omakase Fluke Fin Muscle, which is unbelievable delicious, salmon hand roll, I love the salmon which comes from Northern Europe. Our chef Sam is professional and helpful! I love here.

The depth of flavor in each dish was truly incredible. The fresh seafood, textures, ingredient combinations, and menu progression were all carefully planned and executed. The attentive customer service added to the remarkable dining experience!
