Willows at Chumash Casino - SANTA YNEZ

Food was delicious, Bonnie, gave us personal and exceptional service. Thank you for a wonderful Birthday Dinner.

We had a lovely dinner at the Willows. Food and wine were very good, and I love that there is a dedicated vegan menu. Portions are VERY large—we didn’t understand this and ended up ordering way too much food. It would have been great if the waiter had given us a little introduction to the menu so that we could have avoided all of the unintentional leftovers. Ambiance was quite nice on the patio. Major drawback to this restaurant is the hike through the smoke-filled casino on the way in. Yuck.

The A5 Wagyu was underwhelming. The broccolini had no seasoning whatsoever, and the potatoes were saturated in oil. I believe they overcompensate with portion size to counter the less than desirable meal. I also have to mention the oysters, Definitely need to be re-thought out. The extremely sweet “caviar” completely overpowered the beautiful taste of the oyster.

The service and food was amazing awesome place for a special celebration.

This was our second time here and the service and food was amazing both times. Pricing may come off as a shocker, but it is TOTALLY worth it- especially for a date night or special occasion. We came for a late valentines and then for my fiancés birthday. He got the filet and scallops and I got the seafood grill (best halibut I have ever had) Both entrees were amazing and of course we shared!! Already planning our next return trip.
