Shady Acres Village - Seminary

Nice little shop with some unique items like jams, preserves, pickles, and other homemade items as well as some gimmicky stuff. Stopped to eat the food was very good wouldn't say to die for but good Southern cooking. They were very well priced and friendly. Great place to stop for lunch if your headed out to FL that direction. Will happily revisit on my way back!

Adorable shop and restaurant! They have fresh produce, specialty baked goods, honey, jams, preserves, candies, nuts, a gift shop with home decor, an outdoors shop with plants and pottery, and the restaurant menu has so many options. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had a smoked chicken with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were served with a yummy cinnamon icing dip. The smoked chicken didn't have a very strong smoke flavor, but it was nice and tender and we were able to buy a whole smoked chicken for 5 bucks because they were clearing out the plate lunch tubs. Chicken salad sandwich was amazing. It wasnt rush hour (2:30pm) however, our food came out super fast. Must-see local destination!

This is a charming spot to visit. Although we didn't dine there, we did stop by the general store. It was well-organized and stocked with a variety of items including spices, baked goods, molasses, and unique products. The pecan caramel cookies were absolutely delicious!

Everyone loves Shady Acres and now I know why! Even though it was crowded, there was plenty of space. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I wanted to swim in the BBQ sauce it was so good. Highly recommended!

This restaurant offers some of the best homemade southern cuisine. The menu is filled with various dishes, outdoor seating, and unique decorations. It is definitely worth a visit.
