Cackle Oink B Que - Sherman

I was initially going to give this place four stars because of the excellent BBQ and wonderful atmosphere (by the way, I absolutely love the ceiling!). However, the friendly and professional service from Cass and Chad earned them that extra star! Their warm and welcoming demeanor made the environment feel like a family gathering, and even the customers were chatting among themselves. I ordered the two-meat half-pound plate with brisket and jalapeño sausage, served with black-eyed peas and boiled cabbage. The BBQ was fantastic, with a variety of sauces to choose from. Taking a suggestion from another customer, I treated myself to peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. So delicious!

The best BBQ in Sherman! I always leave satisfied after this meal. I really appreciate the atmosphere as well. The chopped beef sandwich and baked potato are unbeatable!

I had a wonderful experience at Cackle Oink BBQ! The 8 ribs, potato salad, black-eyed peas, and cornbread casserole were all fantastic. Cassidy was incredibly helpful with our order, and Chad, known as "Huge A," gave me excellent recommendations on the meats since it was my first time there. Thank you both! An exceptional place for good food and great service. Family owners and award-winning are easy to see why it is so great. Food was freshly prepared and excellent quality. All meats were smoked for perfection and the sides were very tasteful. The service was like a friend. Appropriate prices and a drive also. Come early because it fills up. Small places. Lots of parking.
