Donair Shawarma House - Sherwood Park

I travel the country extensively and I love to eat. Best donair in Canada. Perfection.And they still have plastic straws!

Go here for the food! Love the shawarma and kabob platters, by far the best in Sherwood Park (may be even all of Edmonton area). Clean, fresh, tasty and big portions. Pros: You won't be disappointed by the food. Cons: Very limited eat in space.

I came in with my toddler and ordered a platter. They were very friendly and playful with her. They then brought the falafel and whole second plate of items, for free, so my daughter could try different kinds of food. You simply cannot underestimate this kind of generosity of spirit. It is certainly worth more than 5 stars. The food was excellent and it worth driving in for.Kid-friendliness: I came in with my toddler and ordered a platter. They have high chairs and are very kind about messes that kids might make.

We ordered our usual two cheese donairs with sweet sauce tonight, and they were absolutely terrible. I'm not sure what went wrong, but they arrived cold, the meat was overcooked and crispy, and the donairs were really dry. We've been ordering from this location once or twice a month for a year, and this is the worst experience we've ever had. Something needs to change, or someone definitely needs better training. I'm truly disappointed and hope this isn't the way things will continue!
