It's hard to pick a favorite because everything we tried here was delicious. They also have a variety of locally sourced preserves, cheeses, and eggs. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended for a top-notch breakfast.
This shop is a wee bit out of the way and could easily be missed, but not by us glad to say. large service of a beautiful chap that gave us the history of farm etc. good choice.
We have purchased quite a few items now and the standard of provendar is always high, the veggie parcels and pork sausages are my favorites, I have yet to trry something i did not enjoy, its all local and properly made.
Despite being a great butchers this hidden gem of a shop also serves up lovely bacon, sausage or egg (or a combination of those.. as well as other meats and fillings in freshly baked good sized rolls. Between the three of us we ordered three...very different lunches and each enthused as to how lovely the one we had was. Hidden down the side of the Salopian bar (very limited parking, max cars but handy if you can pop in there on foot. Highly recommended.
Bought my Christmas ham from here after reading a review in the paper, they were not wrong, the ham I bought for Christmas was beautiful. It had a great flavour and was moist, it was a good weight and fed us all throughout the festive...season and some now resides in my freezer! Very friendly and chatty staff served me and made the visit a lovely experience, a great start to my festive food shopping.
