We ordered the signature dishes, the Delmonico and the 23 layer cake. Both were amazing and worth every bite! The truffle fries and the asparagus were also great. Just not sure why a 16 oz steak is served up as if it’s one portion. 4 oz is a standard protein serving. We ordered 2 Delmonicos for our table of six and asked for them to be sliced so we could share. The presentation could have been better by serving the steaks on a cutting board instead of 2 plates. We also had terrible service, but it was lunch time so maybe the same standards don’t apply in the bar. Our sides came out first before we had plates and silverware. And the steaks came out 5 min later.

Could’ve been amazing, was average instead. The one expectation I had was to have amazing steaks. Unfortunately, the steaks came out room temp and overcooked which made them a little tough. I actually dropped my fork sawing into mine. My friend’s steak was ordered medium, but delivered well done. She sent it back. On try two, it was medium rare, so she only nibbled on the edges. She offered me a bite and it was hot and absolutely delicious. So I understood the potential of what our dinner could’ve been, because the sides were great. Excellent mac cheese, grilled sweetcorn, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, and even peanut butter pie dessert. Also good brussel sprouts and asparagus. If the steaks were executed like the sides, I would be giving this place 4 1/2 stars. The other minor issues were it took way too long to be served. Drinks took 45 minutes. And dinner wasn’t served for at least an hour and a half. When paying $1300 for dinner, you don’t want to be rushed; but it also shouldn’t take 3 hours. Additionally, the room was very dark. We joked that was to hide the overcooked steaks. In the end, if everything had come out hot and cooked as requested, this would’ve been an excellent meal.
The food quanity and quality was good enough. We had Pom-tini, Lychee Pea tea flower, Glazed Mushrooms I saw other munch on steaks which looked amazing. Spent around $53 here. Ambiance was chill. It's on magnificent mile next to Chicago Tribune.
