Papa Woody's - Sioux Falls

The atmosphere is fantastic, reminiscent of a cozy pub in Ireland. The food is handcrafted, delicious, and comes in generous portions. I requested my fries to be slightly on the burnt side, and they did not disappoint; they were crispy like potato chips! For once, my pickle was thick and firm, not limp and warm. Additionally, the service was outstanding—friendly and attentive. One downside, however, is that the menu is unfortunately lacking any type of salad or side salad, even a wedge salad, despite clearly having iceberg lettuce available.

The food was fantastic, but the service was even better. We ordered three pizzas to go, and two of them were perfect and delicious. Unfortunately, the third one was incorrect and missing some toppings. However, the manager was incredibly kind and offered to refund our entire meal, which was more than I expected since I only wanted a refund for the one pizza. I've had their pizza before and have never encountered any issues, so I know this mistake was unusual. Their commitment to making things right truly demonstrates that they are the best in town.

Papa Woody's has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls. The service is prompt and attentive, and the food is outstanding with a wide variety of options. Overall, it's a wonderful experience whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout.

I went in for lunch and ordered a thin Greek pizza, which was served cold. However, it was delivered in less than five minutes. The toppings didn’t adhere to the crust and fell apart easily. It seemed to be overwhelmed with balsamic vinegar, as there were definitely two cups of it on top.

The atmosphere was enjoyable, and our waitress was very nice, but unfortunately, our pizzas were cold and lacked flavor. Given that it's a "pizza place," I expected more. I've heard great things about their burgers, so we might come back to try those instead.
