Dos Amigos Mexican Grill Pizzaria

Our experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The waiter struggled to take our order, asking us about six times and forgetting some of the food items. He also never checked in with us to see if we wanted another drink. When we requested more chips, he disappeared to sit in a booth and didn’t bring them until much later. My dad ordered the steak taco salad, but the steak was so tough and full of gristle that he nearly choked and almost needed the Heimlich maneuver. I mentioned this issue, and while they took it off our bill, we soon realized the waiter had trouble keeping everything straight because he appeared to be drinking. We definitely won't be returning to this place; it’s no surprise they haven't been as busy since their opening.

The food was excellent, but the service was likely the worst I've experienced in a while. The server didn't seem to care about us at all, even though we were one of the only tables there.

This restaurant has received mixed reviews, but they have recently expanded their menu to include Italian cuisine as well. The idea of blending different ethnic foods, creating a fusion restaurant, is becoming popular, and I hope they succeed with this concept. The lasagna is unique, but the marinara sauce could use improvement. They also offer pizza, which is definitely worth sampling. The chimichanga is tasty, but not remarkable. The margaritas can be inconsistent, varying with the time of day. Overall, this place is worth a visit, especially for groups, as everyone can find something they enjoy.

Good food. Good margaritas. We ate there today and was pleasantly surprised that they offer lunch specials on Saturday. Our meals were excellent and the price was great. We will be back.
