Padre Island Brewing Co

We visited this restaurant for Father's Day and were impressed with it as a great alternative to other seafood restaurants on the island. The food selection was fantastic, offering elevated bar food options such as pizza and bacon-wrapped shrimp. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Our waiter, Steven, was friendly and attentive. While the beer selection wasn't as extensive as expected from a place called a "Brewing Company," the beers were delicious and served cold. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the island.

I was honestly expecting more from this restaurant. Perhaps I didn't explore the menu enough. My wife and I split the blackened flounder, which was tasteless. The mashed potatoes, however, were good. The kids' pizzas were really tasty. I give it one star for not meeting my high expectations. This is not a place I would return to. The beers were okay. Overall, the concept is great but the execution needs improvement.

My husband and daughter thought the beer flight was very enjoyable. The pizza, topped generously with bacon, was also delicious. The fried pickles seemed to be beer battered, which wasn't to my liking. The cheese curds were tasty. The pretzel we ordered could have been larger for the price. The service was good, but the waitresses seemed a bit scattered.

A must visit every trio we make to the island. Great beers, great menu and great service every time

I was expecting a fresh beer, but maybe I didn't get the place in their best days considering the beers available that I tried (Golden Ale IPA). Everything else was good! Maybe next time I'll have more luck.
