Legitimate contender for best Indian spot in London

High quality balti in south London. Would highly recommend the Nawaz Special which is a medium hot lamb chicken curry. Bring your own alcohol Updated 2024: we have going here for 8 years and always enjoyed incredible food. However, we ordered takeaway through Uber Eats which was incredibly disappointing. The chicken korma (not my choice) had small, cold and tough pieces of chicken that were inedible. In the past, it’s been delicious. But today, disappointed. I will probably not return.

This is the worst Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant I have been to. Starters were cheap and reheated from the freezer. Mains were just inedible.

Hosted a birthday for 14 people at Cafe Nawaz they were really friendly and helpful with accomodating a big group. It's bring your own booze with no corkage and very easy to book a table.

After 7 years of coming here I can say we have only had the 10/10 best experience
